What makes the “Railgun II” a better putter ?
The Railgun II improves on the fine features of the original patented Railgun and addresses every defect present in other putters. It incorporates all you need to improve your putting technique. You will definitely hole more one-putts with the Railgun II. Why does the Railgun II work better? Lets breakdown the elements of a putt ( line, stroke, moment of impact, and ball movement ) so you can see why the Railgun II is so effective.
1) LINE - If you don't line up correctly, you cannot hole the putt. Fortunately, the Railgun II, with its CNC milled stainless steel perfectly symmetrical body, its center-shaft design, and its parallel spacer bars gives you the correct line every time. It is the easiest putter to align.
"...it really is easy to align..."
- Tom Dellner, Links Magazine, Club Review
Onset vs. Offset
The shaft on the Railgun II is ONSET (as opposed to an OFFSET putter like a Ping ). ONSET means the striking surface is out front, where you can see the point of contact between the putter head and the ball. Your stroke is much smoother when you can see the blade strike the ball in the center of the Railgun II's barrel. ONSET design gives you immediate lift and overspin. Everyone knows the sooner your ball starts rolling end-over-end the straighter it goes — and the less likely it'll get knocked off-line. More putts will drop. So will your scores with the Railgun II. It's that simple.
With OFFSET putters just the opposite happens - the ball actually backspins, forcing your brain to correct the problem by manipulating the putter. In Offset putters the shaft or hosel obscures full view of the putter face. In other words, you are putting blind.
100% Efficient Visual Technology
The Railgun II putter head is perfectly symmetrical. The sweet spot is immediately at the center of the barrel where the shaft enters the head. The spacer bars assist in aligning the putting face perpendicular to the intended ball path. The spacer bars on each side of the barrel, purposely placed the width of a golf ball apart, provide the lines to track your putt swing. The center-shafted design provides a perfect pendulum stroke. Gaps in the putter head let you see exactly where you are at all times

2) STROKE
The goal is to take the putter back and through in a perfect pendulum stroke so the face of the putter is square to the target at impact. Consistent tracking is the hardest element to master with a conventional putter. Most golfers fall victim to the dreaded subconscious correction. Fortunately, the Railgun II is the easiest putter to track.
"...the easiest 'pendulum motion'..."
- Barry Lotz, J.D. Ph.D., Golf Today Magazine , Club Review
Surgeon-like Control
The exclusive Railgun II Tracking System is perfect for the preferred pendulum stroke. Gaps in the CNC milled putter head let you see exactly where you are at all times. Many putters boast balance, but only a center-shafted straight shaft design can deliver a perfect pendulum stroke.
"This putter has a beautiful pendulum feeling...
...a putter that grooves the pendulum feel, this one does the trick."

Practice Perfect
The Railgun II ingrains a consistent, perfect stroke because of the perpendicular lines in its barrel, its spacer bars and the spacing between the barrel and the spacer bars — virtually impossible with conventional design. Teaching pros consider the Railgun II a great practice putter.
MOMENT OF IMPACT
The Railgun II center shafted design and perfect balance assure a crisp moment of impact.
Reality" Balanced
Even "face-balanced" putters want to twist in your hands. The putter's weight must be distributed evenly, forward to back, and heel to toe. The Railgun II is perfectly symmetrical with the shaft in the middle of the barrel for perfect balance and absolute pendulum stroke. The easiest putting stroke to repeat.
Center Shaft
Imagine using a hammer with a bent handle or a handle entering the side of the head. Hit a nail and the hammer twists; so do most putters that are not center-shafted. It may be unnoticeable to the average golfer, but natural physics make it twist. You’ll never experience that with the Railgun II.
Over 80% Perimeter Weighting
Because the putter is CNC milled from heavy stainless steel, weight has been drilled out of the middle of the barrel, machined out of the center at the back of each putting blade and added to the perimeter through the attachment of the spacer bars. This puts most of the weight toward the ends of the putting surface — in the perimeter. This is also known as "high moment of inertia."
Exceptional Feel
You want a putter that gives you feedback that allows you to control the pace of the ball. This comes from the 100 percent milled stainless steel putter head, through the shaft and grip, into your hands. The feedback from the center shafted Railgun II will definitely make you a better putter.
BALL MOVEMENT
The key is to get the ball rolling, end over end. The Railgun II zero loft rails deliver a crisp forward roll. You will never experience the backspin and jerky jump (caused by the loft) of your old putter. Once you experience the smooth forward roll, reading greens will become much easier.
Always a Pure Roll
Because of the Railgun II zero degree loft, the ball does not bounce or hop.
Always a True Roll
Lofted putters inadvertently pull the ball when the toe is up or push the ball when down. The Railgun II has zero degree Rails to deliver a true roll — you can always expect the Railgun II to putt dead on target, every time.
5) ADDED FEATURES - New streamlined (2" by 3-1/2") 100 percent CNC milled stainless steel head is better looking than the original Railgun, but maintains the benefits of the frame design for ease of alignment.
Forgiving Lies
The Railgun II standard lie is 17 degrees, however, its forgiving contoured base accommodates golfers preferring one or two degrees above or below that.
Left and/or Right Handed
A Railgun II putter can be used left or right handed. This can come in handy when your ball is next to an obstruction and you have to switch hit or take an unplayable lie.
Premium Head Cover
A Railgun II putter comes with a premium Putter Head cover for the ultimate in protection and durability.
Optional ball retriever
A Railgun II putter can come with a detachable rubber inset that can be inserted at the end of the grip so you don’t have to bend over to pick up your ball when you finish putting.
